"I think you and your subordinates know better than me what you should say to the police. Just make sure you mention the gun isn't real," Angeline stated coolly while texting someone on the phone.

If it wasn't for Ned's presence in the car, Brayden would definitely have asked Angeline if she knew about Sean's intention to work with Bart.

"Aren't you scared that Bart might get revenge on you? You should know that Bart is a criminal whose hands are covered in blood." Brayden frowned deeply. "It's not like I can rush over to save your hide every time you're in danger."
