Chapter forty-five

We turned to look for where the low growl just erupted from and we had our eyes fixed on outraged Albin.

"Where is my mate?" I watched as his lips pulled up together.

"As I said, I have no idea," the Alpha replied with a sharp gaze.

One thing for sure is that someone helped her to escape.

Because Amelia that I know won't have that kind of courage to do that.

"This is driving me insane, I am about to lose it!!!" Albin growled.

"That slut didn't even dare to tell me before leaving!" He spits under his breath.

"It is just a matter of time," the Alpha murmured but I heard him loud and clear.

"Matter of what?" I mumbled in a voice that only he could hear.

He paused what he was doing and our eyes locked, he glared at me.

His gaze had some sharpness on them that could make one think that they could be murdered by it.

That has always been my thought whenever he gave me that look since I was a child.

Albin is snarling furiously to no one in particular though his gaze seems dangerous.
