Chapter hundred-fourteen

Striding back with Jerome, I was deep in thought when his voice suddenly pulled me out of my daze.

"You make me proud," I turned to stare at him.

"What are you talking about?" My eyebrow twitched up.

"What you did out there deserves an accolade," he flashed me his teeth showing the wrinkle around his eyes.

"Thanks," I mumbled with a nod.

He fucking getting old, but still, you won't know, I smile at that.

I hope that nothing bad has happened to Jade and the humans that we left out there, we just need to hurry.

"We need to hurry, just remember that I left Jade out there with the humans," I said when taking a faster stride.

"Yeah. Yeah. That's true," he murmured but I heard him right.

Silence fell between us as we continued striding, our minds were deep in thought and no one dared to say a word to each other.

The only thing looming in my mind right now is how to attack that man again, how to make him go through pain and crush him to the last.

I know that he will send his men after us
