Chapter ninety-four

I maintained my spot as Jade and Jerome came to stand beside me with Allen still on their hold.

"Someone is in there," Jade suddenly muttered when staring down at our appearance.

We all looked like a mess not when dry bloods are lurking out of our bodies. We smell awful with dirt staining our faces.

"We still need to give it a try," I exhorted.

"Not in this circumstance; we look horrendous," Jerome said in a voice barely a whisper.

I looked at them before my eyes fell on Allen, "But he still needs our help, he is extremely losing blood,"

They both looked at Allen, I watched them exchange a look with a nod.

"Let's give it a try then, we are doing this because of you," Jerome uttered, earning a thank you from me.

We both began striding toward the house, inching close, and we noticed the light suddenly switched off.

We looked at each other when still rambling toward the shack. But who in their right minds could come and live here, hiding deep inside the woods?
