Chapter 568 The Police Station

The inside of the police station was very complicated. There were three floors. Every floor had an elegant design. They were luxurious but majestic at the same time.

The chief of police, Conner, led Chris through all the twists and turns in the station before arriving outside the interrogation room.

Two police officers were interrogating Laura. Conner asked them to leave the room.

"Mr. Jacobs, this is the person you wanted to see." Chris had told Conner to keep his identity a secret.

"Laura, are you alright?" Chris walked over and felt relieved when he saw that Laura was fine.

"Chris? Why are you here?" Laura was surprised to see Chris.

She was still wondering how to notify Chris of her situation. She knew that Chris would be worried if she just disappeared like that.

"I bumped into Nancy when I was looking for you. She told me where you are." Disgust appeared on Chris's face when he mentioned Nancy.

Laura understood what was going on and explained, "I didn't hurt Mrs. Summers.
