When my father asked me to have a drink with him, I thought it was to tell me privately how he didn’t approve of Nora, but it was the opposite.

“The prenuptial agreement will also protect Nora and any future children you have. It may be a good idea.”

“I’ll talk to Nora about it, but I can’t promise we'll have one made.

“Your mother and I have one.”

“Really?”

“Yes. As much as I love your mother, I wanted to make sure we were both taken care of if something happened to our marriage. The agreement gets updated every ten years to reflect the state of our living. I know they have a reputation of being created due to the lack of trust
