Living with him...?

"I miss my dad a lot. I miss that old man a lot," she said, with tears still flowing from her eyes uncontrollably. Ryan furrowed his eyes in confusion. Her dad? Where is he now?

"Where is he?"

"He is in heaven now," she said softly, as her mind drifted to the past. Her father was always with her. He had protected her and took her in, away from her mother. Now something like this had happened and she has no one to reply to.

Ryan sat beside her, patting her head softly.

"But you are not alone. You have Shelby with you. You also have me here," he said softly and she sniffs loudly.

Ryan looked around, feeling a bit sad about the burnt house. He seem to love this place also just like Paige. This place held so many memories for him, and now, it is burnt down to ashes all because of her mother.

Her mother....she would love to see that woman one day and probably teach her a lesson. How dare she do something like this to her own daughter? He felt pity for the woman beside him.
