"You see Michael, the son of a noble family is not only bad at swimming but he also has this foul attitude that his father wanted to send him to the military so that he would learn some basic manners and stop causing troubles at the name of his family but that looser was rejected to even enter the military." Maria said eyeing Jacob.
"You are going overbroad." Jacob said, fuming with anger.
"If you think of this 50-meter race as a petty competition and act childishly after losing then your father was really doing something good and if you did not stop being childish then I am afraid that this news your family has never let out could destroy your fake im
Noah could not stop himself from letting out small laughs at the bickering of his two fellow classmates in front of him. "Woah, it's a rare sight. Ha-ha-ha-ha." Michael said and starting to laugh himself as well. Looking at those two laughing at basically nothing, Maria could not stop herself and burst into a peal of laughter as well. "Do you guys acknowledge that we are laughing at basically nothing." she said and all three of those again started to laugh yet again.
"Hmmm... Okay let's end this call here, take care." was the only thing her father said and cut the call. This time too, Maria could not even say goodbye properly. After last night her mood was quite good but now, she was again feeling sad and distressed. She wanted this chasing and hiding game to end. It was not like she wanted freedom and to live like a normal human being. All she ever wanted was some love and acknowledgment from her father. Maybe he loved her but children will never understand until and unless they were exposed to it.She again wondered if her father would be different or would stay the same if this problem solved. Thinking about her
"Oh, so you want me to teach you so that you can put up a good impression on the new coach. I see." she said crossing her arms and looking at him with her squinted eyes.He started to laugh awkwardly but his laughter had that piercing kind of tone, one could describe it as a dying whale’s scream. She fluttered her lashes as she felt her ears would bleed soon. "No, no, I really admire your skills. You seem to be more of an expert." he stopped laughing and gave her a thumbs up."Ok let's practice together then." she said smiling at him, making Teddy hug her in excitement andmariawidened her eyes in shock at his sudden act of clinginess.
Maria sighed to relax herself and stepped forward. "I am MarsFisher,I am a senior and have been practicing shooting like a hobby." she said not pressing anything about her skills or experience. Now she positioned herself and 'BOOM', every student gasped, not because she showed amazing skills but because she scored a 5. These past few days every student had seen that even when not serious, she never scored low."I think you did not give your bestthere,I will give you another chance." the coach said still with that grim stern face. She swallowed not daring to utter a word, she knew how much of an excellent shooter that person was
Maria entered her room and saw Noah was searching for something in his suitcase. He had not arranged his stuff till now because there were two desks in the room but originally the room belonged to Maria so she had occupied both of them and still had not cleared one for Noah. She felt guilty and for that too as she was rude to him even when he just handed her his handkerchief, so she started to remove things from one of the tables. When she arranged her stuff, she went to him who was writing something in his notebook. She cleared her throat to gain his attention. "Noah... I have cleared the table for you. You can put your stuff there." Maria said and be
Mr. Stele came to class but Noah still was not there. After sometime Noah came and everyone was looking at him shocked. People usually had that kind of black eye when they are involved in a fight but Noah was not someone like that.Mr. Stele did not ask Noah anything and let him in. Noah came and settled on his seat. He could hear murmuring and Michael's laughter as well and he just hid his face in embarrassment while Maria was feeling guilty as hell and her head was hanging low....Break time:
"Actually, Michael snores too loud, all other roommates are heavy sleepers but my friend is not so he asked me to exchange our rooms." Teddy explained while laughing and Maria just nodded her head."Hey, you just go and announce it in a broadcasting station, Go." Michael said rolling his eyes."He-he-he-he, what I do not tell it to everyone, you said Mars was your friend and even told me to go ask him for help saying that he is very kind." Teddy explained and Maria gave a 'you did not' look to Michael and he was nervously trying to look away from her.
"It is okfather,I can manage here." she said not hating the fact that she would have to stay at the school for more time. Day by day her affection for the school and her fellows were increasing, especially Michael and Noah. "Now I will go bye, take care." her father cut the call without waiting for any response. "Huh, Mother why did you even marry him. I knew his love will not last that long." she complained to her mother angrily and stormed to do the assignment again. Maria slammed th
