Talking to Valerie wasn't helpful at all, although she was trying hard to convince me. I was aware of how she and Sebastian were and if she was trying to manipulate me into believing her fake story then she was wrong.

He was being deceived like a fool. For a businessman, wasn't he supposed to be smarter than this.
