CHAPTER FOURTY-ONE

Clinton’s POV

As the doctor closed the door, I rushed to the receptionist who handed me a form to sign as soon as she saw me. I didn’t even bother to read as I put my signature on it. After handing the papers back to her, I turned to one of my guards who asked confused.

“Sir, do we go back or stay here. There’s a little problem under there.”

“Stay here, Carlos will deal with it. I’ll be right back, call me if anything.”

“Alright sir.”

I dashed to the hospital parking lot to get my car.

The doctor who was going to work on my wife was not qualified, only one person that I knew was going to help in this situation. ‘God!’ So I drove at high speed to church.

I couldn’t think straight, I wanted to be with Jessica but there’s nothing I could do even if I was with her right now. Praying was the only option.

I didn’t even realize that I was already parking my car by the church’s parking area. Using my thumb to clear my vision I got out of the car and headed inside.
