CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED

My heart was beating in my chest as I watched the lady approach the stage. I started encouraging myself to focus on locating my parents instead of wasting time here. 

My eyes didn't leave the lady's figure as she took the mic and showed them her talent. But like other contestants, she only managed to say a word as the judges raised their rating cards, and it was zero. This proved there was no chance for me, the lady came running off the stage.

“I thought he liked me,” she said as she ran past me. I turned to leave when I heard one of the judges call for me.
