Chapter 10 - Aidan

I knew Hana Kinsley, or Yashida as she’s called at Yale, would be a challenge. I wanted her to be, especially when seducing her became a bet between me and my friends Albert and Isak. The whole point was that we, primarily Albert and I, wanted a challenge this semester. Having women throw themselves at us gets boring, as difficult as that may be to imagine. However, two weeks of making up excuses to get near her and getting nowhere is longer than expected.

When I say I’ve gotten nowhere, I mean it. Hana would spot me and pull a Houdini. If I didn’t know she was human, I’d swear she was a witch, given how she could disappear. And before you suggest it, I don’t think it’s any hunter trick she’s learned. I know enough about the hunters and their practices to realize they can’t simply disappear. Yet, somehow, Princess Hana managed to disappear into the crowd before I could get to her. If I dared to use my power in public and risked more trouble with the order, she wouldn’t have. But alas
