CHAPTER 74

Xavier was watching a show on TV, but he had no idea what the name of it was or what the show was even about.  His thoughts kept drifting back to Sierra.  He loved her and didn't want to lose her, but he has also waited so long for their union that it was excruciating to let her go.  He hasn't talked to her or seen her in two days.  He's even gone as far as to block the telepathink link that they shared.  The less he has ot do with her the eaiser it will be for him.  At least that's what he kept telling himself.  He ached for her every minute of every day that he's not near her.

He was dragged out of his thoughts and back to reality s a news bulletin flashed across the screen.  THERE HAS BEEN ANOTHER BODY DISCOVERED.  THE IDENTITY HAS BEEN WITHELD AT THIS TIME.  THE AUTHORITIES SAY THAT THIS MAY BE ANOTHER VICTIM OF THE GOD FO TORTURE, WHOM THEY ALREADY HAVE IN CUSTODY!
