CHAPTER 90
Mack had tried to call Sierra last night, to see if she was feeling any better, but she never answered. He tried to call her again this morning, while he ate a quick breakfast, again she didn't answer. He was headed out the door when his phone rang, it was Sierra. He quickly answered it. "FINALLY! What the hell took you so long to return my call?!"
She let out an exasperated sigh. "Sorry, I was in the bath last night and was too tired to return your call, what's up?"
He ran his hands through his hair, knowing that this was going to upset her. "Well your worst nightmare is at large!" He could practically feel her tension through the phone.
"WHAT! How could that be, we just talked to him yesterday!" She couldn't believe what she was hearing. Mack didn't need to tel lher who escaped, she already knew who it was and that feeling of dread in the pit of her stomach blossomed fully.
