Betrayal, Finally

When Olivia walked out of the office, Victoria let out a sigh. Her hands which relaxed on the keyboard of the computer system, fell off and hit the desk.

Her insides were bubbling.

There was joy in the way she conducted herself, and whoever it was that saw her at that instant, could tell that something good and unforeseen had taken place.

Who could have thought that Olivia would change her mind as soon as possible?

“Wow!”

Her legs led her to the window intersection and she staggered on it, looking out of the space to see what went on in the lower part of the building.

Although she peeked out of the window, her concentration relaxed on something else—far away from the areas of the Corporation.

“Fool,” she said in reference to Olivia who was swift to fall for her words and strategies.

How come? She wondered, retracing her footsteps back to the desk.

She walked back and took a seat on the chair and let out a sigh.

The porter on the computer screen had blanked out and she cared
