Chapter: 39 Friends Indeed

Veronica's Pov

Ed hasn't said a word to me after that, we are still in the living room except for my mom, who was sleeping in my room. She had fun catching on to my life through my friends but the exhaustion from the flight hit her and made her cranky so to save myself and everybody else, I asked her to rest.

Now, it was eleven-thirty and as much as I want to crash on my bed and sleep I know Ed's non-responsiveness towards me will not let me have a peaceful sleep.

One of them already knows that the rumors are true, actually two of them, Kelly as well, and now that the rest also knows about the rumors might as well tell them too that it's true.

I clink my wine glass catching all their attention, "guys" I stand up and centered myself, "as you know there are a lot of rumors about me and-"

"Leonard" Lexi interuppts,

"Well yes," I smile and continue, "the more so reason to tell you guys that whatever they're saying-"

"Is not true, we know Veronica" Aiden raises his beer can and clinks it
