It took a bit for the story Alex was telling to really register, but after we talked some more things clicked. Memories I had of Fin, weren’t really of Fin, and the memories of Fin essentially @bu$ing me being gone Alex was actually able to explain. After Alex and Osain were banished, I would ask for Osain, Alex had heard Liam tell me that there never was an Osain, that it was Fin all along. My father, the man who was supposed to love me, he had me believing that a boy who, for all intents and purposes, hated me actually loved me? How could a father do something like that to their child?

                “We can’t go back Alaina, that would be su*c*de!”
