I knew Silindra heard all that was being said, and I was glad. Perhaps if she were able to change the past, things could be different in the future, and I wouldn't be marked.

"It doesn't matter anymore," Sharra continued. "Whatever the Seal did, it's ruined you. The chayot, the witches, Adam Henry. Ugh, they all believe you'll wake, but they don't understand the Seal's power like I do. You won't come back, and that's for the best. I've chosen another.
