JASON POV..

I opened the door. Brent was standing there. He looked disturbed and worried.

"What is it?"

"It's Keira." He blurted out.

What happened?

"I got a message that she was in trouble.”

I followed him out of the house and deep into the dense trees. The smell of blood hit my nose. My anger quickly heightened.

We ran further. Kiera was lying in the grass. Her body was bare from her shifting and covered in blood with a pack member knelling beside her.

"What the hell happened?" I demanded an answer.

"I don't know." Someone mumbled. No one knew a thing.

After requesting the proper covering, I knelled down in front of her and brushed her hair out her face. She jumped up and grabbed my hand in shock.

"It's okay, it’s just me." I assured her.

Her eyes were wide alert, shifting between the many faces before her. I examined her and found a few bloody scars on her, but nothing that would not heal within a few days.
