Chapter 5

Arthur’s POV

Alicia patiently waits for an answer and she keeps her eyes on him when his gaze shifts to something behind her. She’s about to look and confirm whatever he’s looking at but his grip on her chin is pulling her back to their staring contest.

“I got my phone stolen.”

Alicia scoffs, rolling her eyes as if that’s the dumbest thing she’s ever heard. She feels insulted because he’s obviously lying. She doesn’t believe him because if his phone was stolen, how did he read the texts she sent over the week and never replied to any of them?

“You must really think I’m a fool.” Alicia makes an attempt to move from where she’s caged by his hands by the side of the kitchen counter but he doesn’t let her. Instead, he stands properly and one of his hands rests on her hip and Alicia should ask him to take his hand off her hips, right? Why? Because it’s wrong. They’re cousins, he shouldn’t be touching her that way but she likes how that part of her body he’s currently touching feels hot.

“I’m being honest. That night, I was walking home and I was on my phone and that’s when I got the pictures. They were so gorgeous, I mean it. I’ve never seen someone look so fucking good bent that way just for me and then my phone got snatched from my hand right there and the guy took off. I couldn’t run after him because I didn’t even realize that my phone had just been stolen.”

Alicia took a deep breath. “How come all the messages I sent over the week were read?”

“The bastard probably went through my phone but hey, don’t panic. Immediately after seeing those pictures, I deleted them because that’s what I do.”

That’s what he does?

“You get pictures like that from tons of girls?” Alicia sounds upset?

Jason smiles and Alicia doesn’t think she even cares anymore if numerous girls send him nudes, he’s fucking gorgeous, she can’t blame them. She’s one of them as well.

“I’m just saying, I got my phone stolen. I’d never ignore you like that when you’re the only person I’ve been focused on throughout the summer.”

“But-but we are cousins.”

“Does that bother you?”

Who wouldn’t it bother? Sharing countless intimate texts with your cousin isn’t exactly something common, is it?

“Shouldn’t it? We’re related.”

“Hey hey, can we ignore that part? If your mum hadn’t mentioned it then I’d have been a random guy staying with you guys for the meantime.”

Alicia wanted to agree but she knew it didn’t quite change the truth. “That doesn’t change anything.” Alicia finally moved away from him and he watched her go. He contemplated on letting her go or going after her and he chose the latter. He ran after her after she got to the last stairs and grabbed her elbow gently, tugging her back until she was pressed up against his chest.

“I wanna keep texting you, I got a new phone. I want your number.”

They were standing too close to be considered normal for relatives and Alicia took a step back, stretching one of her hands out in request for his phone and he handed it to her. He watched her type in her number and she handed the phone back to him.

“Goodnight,  Alicia.”

Alicia hummed in response and walked into her room. He still stood there and watched her. She glanced at him before shutting the door and she heaved, rushing to her bed to grab her phone and text Anna.

Alicia: [Jesus Christ, you won’t believe what I’m about to tell you. The guy I’ve been texting all summer is my cous…]

Alicia stopped texting, completely unsure of what to do next. She does feel she shouldn’t tell Anna about it, at least not yet until she figures out what she wants to do. Why she’s even considering never stopping whatever she has started with Jason shocks her the most. Why isn’t she repulsed at the idea of still sexting him, or doing something physical with him. She should be disgusted but she’s not, instead, she wants to ignore the ‘cousin’ title between them and just do whatever she wants.

“You only live once, I might as well make the most of it.”

(2am)

The sound of Alicia’s phone constantly buzzing woke her up from sleep and she sighed, mumbling incoherent words as she searched around her bed for her phone until she found it lying underneath some kind of makeshift nest. She opened her message box and she can’t even get upset that someone is texting her by 2am when she sees it’s Jason.

Jason: [Hey, are you awake?]

Alicia: [Yes, it’s 2am. Is something wrong?]

Jason: [Sorry, did I wake you?]

Jason: [I just wanted to talk for a bit.]

Alicia sighs and immediately types something back.

Alicia: [What is it? I thought I fully made it clear that nothing was going to happen between us again?]

Jason: [Technically, you didn’t say that. Have you forgotten the memories we made around times like this? We usually texted during hours like this. What changed?]

Alicia: [After I found out we were cousins, I was obviously supposed to take a step back. It’s common sense.]

Jason: [I understand why you’d feel this way. I’m not texting you right now so we could exchange nasty text messages. I just wanna talk.]

Alicia: [What exactly do we have to talk about?]

Jason: [Everything. About the week we couldn’t text each other. I missed you, I wanna know what you did during that week.]

Alicia can’t possibly tell him that she worried all week, acted pathetic and almost cried some nights when he wasn’t replying to any of her texts. But she’s thankful that whoever stole his phone didn’t pretend to be Jason and send her texts, that would’ve been messed up.

Alicia: [It was the first week of college so I was busy.]

Jason: [Yeah, I remember you told me that you were excited to be a fresher. How was your first week of school?]

Alicia: [It wasn’t bad, not too eventful either. It was just there.]

Alicia’s fingers hovered on the keyboard, she wanted to tell him that she missed him as well, more than he missed her if he was being honest but she couldn’t bring herself to say it when she knew he was in the guest room downstairs.

Jason: [Ughm…..why did you send me that picture?]

Alicia’s breath hitched, her eyes darting from one corner to another. She had totally forgotten about that. The reality was finally dawning on her. Her cousin saw her practically naked. Even though she was embarrassed, she knew her face was beating up, she was blushing and again, she wanted to ignore the ‘cousin’ title and say what she wants to say, what her old self would’ve said before she knew her sext Buddy was her cousin.

Alicia: [I-you made me feel so many amazing things and I just wanted to do the same for you. My friend said sending you a nude without my face visible was perfect but I sent you the first one I had taken instead of the second one that my face wasn’t visible]

Jason: [ I don’t mind, you’re fucking gorgeous either way and that picture did things to me. I might’ve lost it but it was imprinted in my head. You’re beautiful, you know that yeah?]

Alicia smiled and nodded to herself.

Alicia: [You’re really attractive and your hands—your hands are so pretty.]

Jason chuckled in his room, his tongue poking the side of his cheek as he typed a reply back.

Jason: [My hands? You like them?]

Alicia smiled, pushing herself underneath her covers.

Alicia: [Yeah, they’re really pretty and your rings make them look nicer.]

Jason: [Do you want them on you, my hands?]

Alicia read the message and she hummed, her teeth sinking down on her bottom lip and she turned around on the bed, facing the other side of the wall.

Alicia: [Would you-would you put them on me if I said so?]

Jason: [I’d do whatever you want me to do to you.]

Jason: [I wanna tug on your hair with my hands too, would you like that?]

“So much.” Alicia breathed out, turning again on her bed, suddenly restless and facing the ceiling and she took deep breaths. Her thoughts racing, mind and heart racing. She imagined how amazing it’d feel to have Jason’s hands fisting a good amount of her hair and tugging back harshly and she’d moan, she’d moan just for him, from the amazing painful  pleasure.

Alicia: [I want that. Yes. Yes I do.]

Jason: [Do you wanna send me that picture again? I wanna see it.]

Alicia read the message and she nibbled on her lower lip, was she ready for him to see it again now things have slightly changed? Yes, yes, she wanted to show him that picture again. She doesn’t really care. Her phone vibrated after a minute.

Jason: [Please?]

Alicia went to her gallery and she found the picture. She couldn’t bring herself to delete it before, she didn’t want to. She wanted to keep it and look back at it and maybe she’d feel sexy? She clicked on the picture and sent the one without her face in it as she saw Jason had already seen it and her stomach churned nervously.

Jason: [I want the one with your face in it, please?]

Alicia pondered on it, she wasn’t sure about it but he makes her feel sexy and she-she suddenly wants to give him whatever he wants and so, she sent it and like before, it read the picture has been seen.

Jason: [Christ, I didn’t get to look at it properly that night because I was on the street but now, I’m lying on my bed and I’m not gonna lie, my cock twitched.]

Alicia giggled, rolling around her bed and she yelped when she fell off, her back hitting the floor in a loud thud and she groaned, still giggling as she got up. But she was still worried.

Alicia: [Is this really okay? Exchanging these sorts of texts even after finding out we’re cousins?]
