Nick knew this was going to be hard on Ivy, he’d already been through this, and it wasn’t going to be easy. She was going to fail more than once, and there wasn’t anything he could say that was going to make this any easier. They had seven days to plan for this, the Council would arrive a few days before start setting things up and to make sure she knew what would happen, and to make sure she didn’t run away.
