Chapter 39 - Pandora

"Aah c’mon…, you guys make out or something? What took you so long?" Laurene asked and a shocked look crept up on my face.

"What? Why would we do that?" I asked and Laurene sighed.

"Oh, it seems like I guessed wrong..." she muttered.

What the hell, what did she have in mind about Vito and me? Were we that obvious?

"C’mon, don't make that face, I see the way he looks at you and acts all mushy around you. I hardly ever see him that way, you know, but sincerely speaking now, Vito isn't the type to hold back on his feelings so I assumed he might have said something to you already" Laurene explained. Listening to her explain, I didn't know how to react other than being a little bit embarrassed and a blushing mess. Why did she have to make me remember Vito’s confession? it played repeatedly in my head far too much and it happened when I least expected it to.
