Painful Reconsideration

Christen practically slammed the door open as she finally arrived at the rooftop. As soon as she got to her destination, she closed the door behind her, and walked to the edge, blocked by a fence.

‘Soon… Soon, this will all be over,’ she thought.

As she walked, her mind began to think back to childhood. Specifically to the many times when she was bullied and harassed by her classmates, and the number of disappointed gazes she had piercing through her soul.
