I paced back and forth unable to decide what core of action to take. He had asked me to stay put, I didn't want to set him off and do anything to set him off but I needed to be sure that he wasn't going to hurt Riggs.

"Fuck it, what's the worse that could happen?" I barged out of the room and sprinted downstairs. I reduced my steps and walked on my tiptoes towards his bedroom door.

"...so why would you fucking do it? Talk man have you fucking gone deaf?" Alpha was making my heart race.

"I swear on my life alpha, I didn't touch her inappropriately, you know me, you know that's something I would never do." Beta Riggs was so calm and collected, I couldn't wrap my head around it. Any other person would have fainted in this situation.

"Riggs, why was she in your room in the first place?"

There was a quick long pause.

"Answer me!" Alpha barked.

"Because I asked her to come here."

"Why?"

Goodness, did this man really want to know every single thing that happened? What was his goddamn problem
