The journey back to the pack house was the most quiet one, I retired to my room, not bothering to interact with anyone.

I laid on my side, sniffing and crying as I thought about the way he died.

About an hour passed when a knock came on my door.

I sniffed, slowly sitting up and wiping my face with the back of my hands.

"Yes?"

Alpha walked in. He was in a black hooded tank top, and black shorts. "You haven't changed out of your clothes?" He asked, pocketing his hands.

I only stared at him sniffing.

He came to sit in front of me, and wrapped his arms around me, "my love, it's okay." He rested my head on his shoulder, patting my back, that didn't comfort me, instead it made me sob even harder.

"How do I get over this?"

"It's hard, but we need to honor him, that's the most memorable thing anyone has done, so you don't have to hold yourself back, cry as much as you need to, it's going to be fine."
