I don't care about anything else. All I can see is him, only him. I walk faster without thinking about the consequences. I just know that he needs me the most now. He looked so broken, so hurt. I'm afraid if he hurts himself.
As I leave the hall and reach the lobby, I find him walking through it, holding the bottle. The lobby is completely dark but I can see him through the blue lights coming from outside.
"Chris", I clamour as he stops. He pauses for a while and turns to me. His eyes are turned red like blood and the wrath on his face is unbearable for me to witness. Our eyes meet. I look at him helplessly when he turns to go again.
"Chris! Stop!", I run faster after him. As I reach him, I grab his arm, turn him around, taking the bottle from his hands and slam it on the ground as he looks at me intensely. "What are you doing? Why have you drunk so much?", I yell.
