Volume || Chapter 3 [ NOT GUILTY ]

I come inside the visiting room and find Martha comes inside. My eyes burn as I see her in front of me. She along with the whole staff betrayed me beyond my imagination. I'm rotting in this prison for the last three months just because of them and she is showing the guts to show up here. I'm sitting on the chair that is kept in the corner of that room. She comes to me and halts a foot away.
"How are you?", she asks with a smile. I wish I could slam her right here to show how I am.
"This question seems not to be suitable for you to ask, Martha", I frown, kneading my hands with one other while blabbing. It's being hard for me to control my outrage. "You should be happy to see me here"
She surprises me by passing a sarcastic smile. "That's why you are here, Adavan. Because you don't know how to love and respect. What you had done was a crime, still, I came here to see you. Just because I considered you my son", she spits as I grimace, looking away.
