The woman was unforgiving with her words, not even attempting to preserve a vestige of Samantha's dignity.

Holly turned back to see a middle-aged woman standing about 30 feet away from her. Not only was she elegant and charming despite her age, but she was also tall and slender. She wore a long black coat, emphasizing her beautiful legs as she stood ramrod straight.

She was Sherry, Bryce's mother.

Holly was slightly surprised to see her here, but she quickly greeted Sherry with a smile, "Mom."
