All of them left the hotel after finishing their meal.

Holly was carefully carrying the lockbox that contained the white-glazed kiln vase.

Gabriel reached out for it. "Let me. A gentleman shouldn't let a lady carry such a heavy thing."

Holly didn't reject his offer. Such an expensive and fragile thing might fall and shatter if they were to fight over it. Whose fault would that be, then?

She thanked him politely.

They took the elevator down.

As they walked, Yoel received a call and slowed down. Christopher, too, slowed down as he was creating some opportunity for Gabriel.

Holly and Gabriel were greeted by a chilly breeze as they walked out of the hotel. Holly wrapped her trench coat tightly around her slender figure.

Gabriel's gaze lingered on her slim figure. "I'm happy to meet you today, Ms. Sinclair."

Holly wasn't good at socializing. He would surely misunderstand her words if she were to reply, "I'm happy, too".

So, she only smiled and replied, "Thank you."
