Yoel sat down and leaned against the chair. His silhouette was one of loneliness.

He slowly raised the wineglass, holding it up to a photograph on the table. He smiled. "I've done everything that you've wanted to do for Holly, Queenie. Don't worry. I'll take care of her."

The woman in the photograph looked to be in her early 20s.

Her pale skin was delicate and alluring. Her large eyes were full of life and warmth. Her red lips were curved into a smile.

She looked quite similar to Holly.

Regret filled Yoel's heart. He poured himself glass after glass of whiskey.

However, the regret didn't disappear. Instead, it multiplied. It felt like it was about to burst from his chest.

His eyes were a little red. He held the photograph, staring into the woman's eyes. "If I had just been a little more stubborn back then, maybe you wouldn't have married Abraham, and you wouldn't have become who you are today.

"If we had gotten married, our daughter would probably be Holly's age."
