Chapter thirty seven

The disappointment on Brian's face became apparent after Lina left his office.

He gritted his teeth and clenched his fist. Even due, there was an investigation going on but he couldn't help but try to know whether she could remember him or their memories together and that was why he turned on the volume of his phone when his grandmother called.

His grandmother was among the few ones that knew about his relationship with her before he left the country for studies.

Lina loved his grandma so much. Brian remembered when she always told him that she loved his grandma's sweet voice then.

Brian was disappointed when she couldn't recall grandma through her voice.

He looked at her face to know whether there will be a little change in her face but it remained emotionless.
