Chapter 21: The Conference

I was on my way to the conference. I need to clear my mind and just think about what I have to do now. 

I reached the building and went inside. I took a deep breath and replayed  the speech in my mind to make sure I remembered everything.

I was welcomed politely and taken to a room. There was a big screen and several journalists. 

“Good to see you, Mrs. Anderson. May we start in five minutes?” one of them asked me.

“Okay”

He smiled warmly at me and went to talk with other people. I just stayed. Someone walked up to me and asked me to take a seat, almost in front of the big screen.

I sat down and soon a man who seemed to be a boss walked in and sat beside me. He looked at me. “Nice to meet you, Mrs. Hailey Anderson. We hope to see Anderson Corporation reach more heights”
