7. The Attack

"you're still alive, " I said with a smile, and I really felt that I'm back to who I was before, the strong, bad girl.

"you are still my wife, " Jake said and grabbed my arm and squeezed.

I released my arm from his grip and said

"no Jake, Natasha Andrews is your wife and I'm Natalie Salvator,"

"How did you turn Roman on me, " Jake asked.

"Detka," I said baby in Russia and continued "Roman wasn't even with you, "

"He was your father's man wasn't he?" Jake asked and looked hurt.

"look, I don't blame you, I didn't know till a week ago, " I said and smirked.

"so you're back with Knight," Jake said.

"what can I say, I suppose true love never dies, " I said.

I remembered who told me this... Nicholas, I looked at Jake and asked "why did you kill him. "

before he can answer Alexander entered the restroom and his gaze was on Jake, he came and stood in front of me, he really was like a knight in shining armor, "

"Natalie, Danielle wants to talk to you, " Alexander said without removing his gaze from Jake.

"Okay, come on let's go, " I said and tried to pull Alex with me but he stayed put.

"you go, I and Jake will have a little conversation," he said and I didn't protest further, because I knew it would have been useless and I got out and started looking for Danielle.

"you've been looking for me, " I said to Danielle.

"Yeah, I need you to get close to Jake's sister, so that my copying and hacking phone would work, " Danielle said and gave me the phone.

"for how long?" I asked and put the phone in my bag.

"2 minutes maximum and her phone will be hacked, " Danielle said.

"give me a sign once it's hacked." I said and Danielle nodded.

I headed toward Aria, when she noticed me she meet me halfway and said "congratulations, Mob Princess, "

"Thanks, Aria, and how is Eleanor by the way, "I said and looked at Danielle who told me to wait a little bit more.

"she's fine, and she will be better as long as you're not with us anymore, " Aria said and I looked at Danielle again and she nodded in a sign that it's done.

"Good for her, " I said and walked back to Danielle.

"did it work?" I asked.

"like hell, " Danielle said.

after 2 hours the party ended, I and Alexander went and entered his car and I asked "what did you do to Jake after I left ?"

"nothing just opened his wound again. " Alexander said and I Laughed.

"Really?" I asked

"Yeah, then I left him in the restroom," Alexander answered.

10 minutes later a car appeared beside my window and I said "Alex, "

Alexander looked at the window and his eyes widened and he yelled "Nat, get down".

Alexander pushed my head down and bullets started to fly around us and the car glass was broken, then Alexander twisted the steering and we got away from the road and then another car appeared and we hit it and I passed out.

"Okay, so Ella and Roman are on our side, " I explained.

"so is the Knights, " Danielle said.

"We have a team and now we need to know what are we going to do on the meeting day," Roman said.

"First we should hack one of their phones, " Ella said

I took Aria's Photo and stick it on the wall and said "Aria Andrews is a super easy target, we're hacking her phone."

"How?" Dominic asked.

"with this, " Danielle said and held out her invention (copying and hacking wireless device) I mean Danielle might be annoying but she is way too smart.

"with this, we just need someone within 10 feet close to any device and then I either choose to hack it or copy what I want from it. " Danielle said.

I wrote on the board, next week's mission "Hacking Aria's phone."

Present Day.

I woke up and I felt a sharp headache and I looked beside me and to find Alexander passed out, I got out of the car and one of the men who fired at us appeared and said "Mr. Andrews asked us to tell you (Game on ) "

I looked for my phone and when I found it I dialed Emily Alexander's sister and told her what happened and where we are.

then I went to open Alexander's door and woke him up and by the time he was able to walk Emily has arrived, we went to her car and she drove us to the villa where we put our plans.

the team met us as soon as we arrived and helped us to have a seat and Danielle helped us with our bruises, then we went to sleep.
