CHAPTER 20

Katarina's Pov

I walked to the pack house in haste. My decision has been made. I didn't want to think about it again before I changed my mind. Nathan was my first choice but might not be the best partner for me.

Tyson had every right to me so I plan on sticking by him. Of course, there'll be rules of things I won't do since we just met. Feelings might grow with time. If it doesn't, we could just be a pair.

My wolf laughed at me. I didn't care what she thought. I was planning on not letting her out in the meantime. She might jump on Tyson immediately when she gets an opportunity.

The house smells of food. Different varieties of food. I was looking for Tak. We came together but I left him here so I could attend the meeting. I knew the scent of my son. His scent reminds me of the spring in Lakes valley.

I walked to the kitchen and there he was. He was eating a cookie and beside him was Nathan.

"Tak," I called out to him. He smiled at me. I walked up to him and ruffled his hair. "Don't
