Grant's Pov

I hummed an old rhyme in a good mood. The Boss had not shown his stupid masked face for some time. I hated his guts so I was happy not to see him. My door opened and Vic ran inside which made me frown.

"Vic! What is wrong?" I asked him. I wasn't ready for another fight right now.

"Alpha there's a problem." He looked at the floors. I became more curious just by his reaction.

"A problem on what? What exactly is going on?" I asked again.

"The King and Kat have left for Lakes Valley," he said quickly. I froze at his words. Surely I didn't hear him right the first time.

"What do you mean?" I asked with a threatening voice. I took a step closer to him, "How did you let such a thing happen?" I shouted.

"I didn't know. When I went to check up on them, that was when I found out."

"Why would they leave? What is in Lakes Valley?"
