CHAPTER 74

Grant's Pov

"Let go of me!" I growled, threatening them but they refused to let go of me. They pulled me to the Boss's office. I guess even the guards had heard of me.

We reached the office and they knocked. I rolled my eyes at their formalities. A voice told them to enter and they pushed the door open, pulling me with them. This was not what I expected when I wanted to offer my help.

"Hello Grant," the Boss smirked and placed down the document his eyes were glued on before I came in.

"Hello, it's really good to see a familiar face," I grumbled sarcastically. He smiled.

"Let him go and leave," he ordered his men holding me captive. They let go of me immediately and walked out without glancing back.

"You have some nerve coming back," he said coldly. I knew he must be fighting the urge to kill me after what I did. I walked to him and sat down on the chair.

"I heard what happened to you too," I said. He frowned, not understanding.
