CHAPTER 89

Grant's Pov

"Are you out of your goddamn mind!" The Boss yelled at me. It didn't faze me though. The deed had been done already and I didn't feel guilty about it. Except maybe for Audrey. I had just delivered her to her death.

"You do know the repercussions of this, don't you?" He glared at me. I kept quiet. The mission was not entirely a disaster. At least I was able to save Vic.

"Are you going to keep ignoring me?" He yelled and threw a photo album at me. I quickly moved away so it didn't touch me.

"I had no choice. He was already on the brink of death," I tried to explain.

"I don't care! You should have brought him back. We would have taken him to the hospital. I would have done it myself!" He kept on yelling. His voice was hurting my ears, making my wolf get agitated.

"I'm sorry," I apologized.

"You're not. You don't look sorry. All you cared about was saving your stupid Beta!" I growled immediately after he insulted Vic. He rolled his eyes.

"I'm not scared of you, Grant. Y
