Blake grabbed my arm as I walked out of the kitchen and I halted. I wanted nothing more than to rip his hand off me and run from his touch, but I remained still, kept a calm expression and turned to Blake.

"What?" I snapped.

Blake raised an eyebrow, seeming impressed. "Eli's really worked his magic, you're not even tensing up," he said and slowly let go of my hand. "Too bad that I know you better. You're good at pretending Daisy."

"If you know me better then you'll know not to touch me!" I said and stepped back from him. "To everyone else it looks like I'm all cured," I said sarcastically. "And I want it to stay that way. I hate it. I hate being touched, but everyone thinks I'm over it. You can't tell anyone."

Blake crossed his arms over his chest. "Why?"

"Because they look at me like I'm broken! Like they can't do anything without me freaking out! I can't stand it. This way they think I'm better."

"But you're not."

"No."

"Does Eli know? He's the one you've mainly been sparring with.
