Chapter 48- Rumours

It was the following morning and Aria woke up to her phone beeping every couple of seconds. She gently picked up her head from Adrian’s shoulder and reached for it quickly, not wanting to wake him up as he looked so peaceful sleeping, with not a hint of frown or seriousness on his handsome face.

Aria picked it up and looked down at the hundred of notifications she had from a few different apps. She quickly opened the main messaging app she used, hoping everything was ok, as a bad feeling filled the pit of her stomach.

The first message right at the top was from her sister Raya.

“Hi, hope you’re ok, have you seen the news? Just wanted to ask if everything was ok between you and Adrian” it read in full words. Aria read it with a slightly confused look on her face, wondering what she meant.

She quickly opened the google app and searched her name in the toolbar, wondering what Raya meant. It wasn’t long before the first few articles at the top caught her eyes, and she opened one quickly
