Anna's POV

"And what about me, you idiot?!" I snapped, my anger boiling over at Lauren's audacity. How dare he spout such nonsense after he came here to do the contrary of what he told me?!

"Anna, it's good to have you here, dear," Catherine greeted me with a smile that grated on my nerves. How could she smile as if everything was fine? She was the root cause of all this nonsense, and yet she acted as if she had done nothing wrong. I couldn't stand it. I just can't stand her anymore. I hate her so much I don't even know how to express my hatred for her.
