Maria's POV

"Absolutely not" I said.

Alexander had the guts to rool his eyes at me as he placed the unconscious woman on the bed and might I add, she was also covered in blood stains ruining the expensive wool bed covers.

"I just need her to stay here for a few days and then I will come and get her" he said as he straightened up.

I noticed that he also had blood splattered all over his clothes as well and there was a wildness in his eyes.

"What happened?? What trouble did you guys land yourself in this time?" I asked him.

"Nothing that concerns you, just let her stay here until I have settled everything" he said.

Why exactly was I angry about this? Normally I would have been more than willing to help anyone in need but I was not feeling very charitable towards the lady in the bed.

I knew even without being told hat this was Zara, she was Alexander's mate and though I will never admit it out loud, I hated that fact greatly.
