The Last Touch of a Goodbye

I turned on the bed, a small sigh escaping my lips. The chandelier, now dark with only the inner warm light served as my only companion, and I sat up, my head feeling a little light.

It had been hectic all day, as Alpha Blake had shown me everything once more, down to the food to be prepared. He checked if I wanted something on the menu, if I had a particular classic piano piece to be played by the pianist.
