Emma immediately left the academy after the classes. She took the bus and reached the cafe. Her heart was beating faster just by thinking that she had lost her job but she still decided to pay a visit. Maybe by any chance, the boss would be kind enough to let her join.

On one hand, her mind was blaring that Mr. Colt would never let her go out to work, he was a possessive type of controlling man but still, she wanted to try her luck and be defiant.

Walking in, she was greeted by wide eyes of Stacy who stared at her for a whole minute before jumping on her and hugging her tightly. Emma hugged her back but their boss broke their happy moment.

"In my office Emma, now!" He ordered and both the girls immediately parted. Stacy motioned her that they'll talk after this as Emma went into the office.

But only to receive her firing letter. Yes, she was being fired because of her extremely long absence.

With a sad sigh, she went to meet Stacy who was in the kitchen. "I'm so sorry for you," St
