Chapter 18: Home wrecker?

“Oh god Silia you scared me!” Diana said making me suppress a squeak of fright surprise myself. Thankfully she didn’t notice that and instead asked, “What are you doing just standing outside the door like a ghost? Just scan your biometrics and enter in, your shift is going to start in two minutes.”

She said that and then waited for me to open the door to the secret tea parlor of the elites which caused me to gulp an involuntary surplus of saliva at the nervousness I felt. With a bit of hesitation I finally pressed my finger to the scanner and then let the other scanner scan my iris after which the door opened on its own, waiting for me to push it and enter.

I didn’t want to enter just yet.

I was scared to face them.

Both Alfeo and Draven, and I was praying with everything I had in my body for them to not be here today.

When I entered in my eyes frantically did a quick scan for cold grey eyes and a devilish playboy smile but when it found none I felt myself heave a sigh of relief.
