29. Sinful

Although Antonio's new behavior was uncalled for, I somehow understood where he was coming from and I didn't want it to be a problem between us, I mean he was the one who kept saying we could be cool. I grabbed my phone and dialed his number.

"Hey" I said into my phone.

"You're up" was his respond. Really, you're up?

"And you're not here" I retorted. I wanted to know why he left without letting me know, I mean he left my house open, what if the person who had been following me around entered into my house to kill me or do whatever he wanted to do.

"Yeah well, I was just sticking to the contract. No strings attached right? Be safe though, I have work to do" Antonio rushed and hung up. Okay, Antonio was taking his anger a little too far, but he was right, sticking to the contract would be better for us; I mean I was the advocate for sticking to the contract and there I was, looking for attention.

I dragged my lazy ass to the bathroom, had a long ass bath and went to the kitchen to cook J

I like the story but I'm annoyed I paid for the same chapter twice. As well as chapters are listed out of order?
