CHAPTER FIFTY-EIGHT

It's been four days.

Four days since I've visited Alessandro at his office, and I have still not heard from him. Not, a text, nothing.

I've been finding it hard to get up in the mornings, if it wasn't for Thomas waking me up and demanding that I train with him, I would probably just stay in bed and wallow.

I've noticed that I don't get any requests to tutor students either, and I don't even have the energy to enquire about it, I know who has something to do with it.

But how could he?

How could he just barge into my life, completely change it, and then leave me hanging?

The worst part is, I don't even miss Sammy the way I miss him. What does that make me? I've known her longer than I know him, yet it's his presence that I miss. Or maybe I was just never meant to be a good friend. I know I'm a good sister, but maybe Sammy was right to move. Maybe I'm a disaster waiting to happen.

Here I am pining for a man who can't even pick up the phone to text me.
