Chapter 47

“Monster?” Antonio repeated her words with his gaze fixed on Amora, his eyes blazing with anger.

Amora’s eyes were wide with terror. She recoiled from his advance, covering her ears to block out the chaos that surrounded her.

“Monster!” she screamed in fear. “Go away!! Go away you murderer!!” She screamed harder.

Antonio’s hand clenched into a tight fist with a mask of cold rage written all over his face.

He stood motionless and had his eyes on Amora as she retreated until Eduardo barged into the room.

“Sir!” Eduardo called urgently capturing Antonio’s attention.

Antonio turned to face Eduardo who gasped out immediately.

“Sir, what happened?” Eduardo’s asked in an alarming voice as he approached Antonio, who was standing still with a blank expression on his face.

Eduardo’s eyes ran through Antonio’s body from head to toe, searching for any visible signs of injury or distress.

He noticed that Antonio’s shirt was a little bit torn near the shoulder, but there was no blood or bruising.
