"Run away!" Vince stood up, his eyes on my injured legs. He pondered something and then grabbed Alina and put it on his shoulder. "I'll carry her, and you run first."

I then nodded to Vince's arrangement; we had little time to argue about anything.

Realizing we had no intention of saving Dante, he yelled. "Hey, take me with you; I don't want to die. You broke my leg; now it's your responsibility to save me!"

Seeing a slight hesitation on my face, Vince said coldly. "Ignore him; let him stay here, and hold off those Rogues for a while. We can't bring along a troublesome person like him with our current strength."
