Chapter 16: A Newly Found Friend

Raviora's Point of View

Adam folded his long sleeves up to his elbow. The veins on his arms protrude while his both arms are on his hips, looking at me impatiently.

My face's appearance changed, giving him the gentlest and arguing look. “I just want to see them, nothing else.” I tried persuading him.

The authority in his eyes is still there. He didn’t say anything and remained quiet. I looked away at how his ardent gazes tried to look directly at my hand.

Argh! I just want to see them. Isn’t it allowed as well?

Before Adam turned his back again, I slowly moved forward as I wrapped my hands around his neck. This position made me anxious. His dark eyes remained the same while his hands were still on his hips.

I smiled sweetly and tried to coax Adam.

“Please?” I said, utilizing the gentlest voice I have. “Hmm? I’ll just want to see my friends. I won’t tell them about you and your stuff.”

Adam’s eyes went to my lips before looking directly into my eyes again. It might be the crazie
