Chapter 100: The Voice

"Lucas!" Called the voice.

He jerked up, breathing heavily as he glared around the room only to find himself alone in the room. He rubbed his forehead gently, groaning at the pain.

Again, in a loud but deep voice, the voice called again. "Lucas!"

Lucas got down from the bed, he quickly left his room to his mother's room but the door was locked. He was knocking several times to wake her up. Elise woke up with a force, the sound of the knock was so loud that she thought some thing bad was happening.

She rushed to open the door, but was surprised to see Lucas standing outside her room. "Lucas?" She was surprised. "You should be asleep by now.. what's keeping you awake by this time of the night?" She asked, rubbing her eyes.

"I had a dream, a very bad dream."

"Come in." She shifted aside, opening the door wider for him to enter. "What did you see in your dream?" She asked, closing the door behind her.
